Christmas Light Installation in Trinity, FL
Classic C9 Christmas displays installed, maintained, and taken down for you. The timeless look, none of the ladder time.
Love the look of the holidays. Hate the ladder.
Every December it is the same routine: drag out the bins, untangle the strands, hunt for the dead bulb, and spend a weekend on a ladder. Then you do it all in reverse in January and find somewhere to store it. The display is beautiful. The labor is not.
The risk is the part nobody budgets for. Every season brings another story: a slip off a wet ladder, an afternoon lost hunting one dead bulb, a box of strands that did not survive the attic. The finished look is worth it. The Saturday it costs you, and the fall it might, are not.
We hand-install premium C9 bulbs along your rooflines and features. This is not a store-bought strand: we run commercial-grade line off 500-foot spools, cut and tailored to fit your home exactly. We maintain it through the season, then take it down and store it. Returning customers re-rent the same custom-fit package each year with priority scheduling. All the magic of a classic Christmas, none of the hassle.
Lighting a storefront, restaurant, office or HOA clubhouse instead? The scheduling and the liability side both work differently for a business, which is covered on commercial Christmas light installation.

Holiday Lighting Questions, Answered
Do I buy the lights, or is it a rental each year?
A rental, and that surprises people in a good way. The line is cut and fitted to your house, we install it, look after it through the season, take it down in January, and store it. Nothing goes in your attic, nothing gets crushed in a bin, and you are not hunting for the one dead bulb next November. The following year you re-rent the same custom-fit package and it goes back up in a fraction of the time, because it was already measured to your rooflines.
Can I change the colors from an app like the permanent lights?
No, and it is worth knowing the difference before you choose. Traditional C9 is a fixed color: you pick warm white, cool white, or vibrant multicolor at install and that is the look for the season. A timer or a smart outlet turns it on and off, and that is the extent of the control. Color you can change from your phone on any given night is the permanent architectural system, which is installed once and stays up year round. Plenty of people want exactly the classic C9 look and never miss the app.
When do you come take them down?
In January, on a schedule we set with you rather than whenever we get to it. Takedown is the part homeowners quietly dread and the part most people are really paying to hand off, so it is not an afterthought here. Your package then goes into storage with us until next season. Booking works the same way at the other end: returning customers reserve their install date first and the calendar fills before the busy weeks, so the earlier you are on it the better your window.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Architectural Ambiance is fully licensed and insured, and family owned and operated. In a field that is largely unregulated, we are also one of the few actually certified to do this work, and our co-owner brings over 25 years of low-voltage experience to every install.
What does it cost?
Every home is different, so pricing depends on the lineal footage, the rooflines, and the system you choose. For homeowners already paying a professional to install and remove holiday lights each season, a permanent system typically pays for itself in about two years. We start with a free design consultation and give you a clear, written quote with no obligation. Financing is available. Call (727) 222-3111 to set it up.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in the greater Tampa Bay area and cover Trinity, Tarpon Springs, Tampa, Odessa, Lutz, Keystone, Starkey Ranch, Palm Harbor, Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg, among others. Not sure if you are in range? Just ask.
Traditional C9 or permanent: which holiday lighting you actually want
There are two genuinely different ways to get your home lit for the holidays, and it is worth knowing which one you are asking for before you book. Traditional C9 lighting, the service on this page, is the classic look: real faceted bulbs on a line run along your rooflines and features, up for the season and down in January. You pick the color once, warm white, cool white, or multicolor, and that is the display for the year.
Permanent lighting is a different product on the same house. A slim track is built into the roofline and stays up all year, invisible by day, warm white every night, and any color you want from an app when the holidays come around. It costs more at the start and it never comes down again. One is a display we install and remove each season; the other is a system you own and run yourself.
Neither is the right answer for everyone. If you love the traditional bulb look and just want it handled without spending a weekend on a ladder, C9 is exactly right, and it is what the rest of this page is about. If the part you are tired of is doing it at all, every December, the permanent route ends that cycle for good. We lay both out at the free design visit and price the one you want.
What holiday lighting costs, and what changes the number
Nobody can give you an honest flat price for this sight unseen, and it is worth being wary of anyone who tries, because the number is driven almost entirely by your specific home. The three things that move it most are how much roofline you want lit, how many stories up the crew has to work, and whether you are adding trees, columns, wrapped palms, or yard features beyond the roof.
Access matters more than people expect. A single-story home with a clean gutter line is quick. A two-story with steep pitches, tile, or hard-to-reach peaks takes longer and more care, and the quote reflects that. What you are paying for is the whole season handled: the design, the commercial-grade line cut to fit, the install, the upkeep through the season, the take-down, and the storage, in one price. Returning customers re-rent the same package at a known number.
So we do it the only honest way. We come out, measure what you actually want lit, and hand you one written price before anything is scheduled, with no obligation and no pressure to decide on the spot.
Why booking early actually matters here
Holiday lighting runs on a harder calendar than most home services. Installs happen in a tight window: crews start going up in October so displays are lit for the season, and the schedule fills through November as everyone decides at once. The closer it gets to Thanksgiving, the fewer slots are left, and the good weekends go first.
Returning customers are handled before the calendar even opens up. Because we store each display between seasons and re-rent the same custom-fit package, prior clients get priority scheduling at a known price, and that fills a real share of the season before new bookings start. That is not a sales line, it is simply how a season works when take-down, storage, and re-install are part of the service.
The takeaway is simple. If you know you want your home lit this year, the earlier you get on the schedule the better your window and the less you are fighting the December rush. Call, get your free written quote, and pick your install slot while it is still yours to pick.
