What we know about lighting Land O’ Lakes homes
Land O’ Lakes lives up to the name, and its communities are built around preserve land as much as water. Bexley holds twelve hundred acres of preserved Pasco wilderness with more than ten miles of trail planned to tie into the forty-two-mile Suncoast Trail. Del Webb Bexley sits gated and 55-plus just off SR-54. Connerton runs off US-41 through multiple gated villages with its own elementary school and roughly three thousand acres of preserve around it. The homes are newer, on tidy lots, with landscaping that has not filled in yet. That is the thing that decides the design here. There is no old canopy to light and not much to hide fixtures behind, so the architecture and the trim lines do the work, and on the lots that back to water or preserve, the back of the property becomes a second scene worth lighting.
Recent master-planned construction threaded between Pasco lakes, preserves and trail corridors, strung along the SR-54 and US-41 corridors. Rooflines are clean and current, trim is consistent, and landscaping that has not filled in yet puts most of the visual weight on the house itself. Where a lot backs onto a lake or a preserve edge, there is a second, quieter scene out back that most homeowners here have never had lit.
New construction means clean lines and no canopy, so we design tight to the architecture. If your lot backs onto preserve or water, that side is usually the part nobody expected to care about.

Land O’ Lakes lighting, answered
Our Land O’ Lakes home is a newer build with young landscaping. What lighting makes sense?
Lead with the architecture. On a new home the lines are crisp and the yard is still filling in, so lighting the rooflines and entry is what makes it look finished, with landscape lighting added as the plantings mature.
We back up to a lake in Land O’ Lakes. Can you light that side?
Yes. We can light the landscape, the path to the water, and the dock so the lakeside is as finished as the street side, which is a big part of what makes these lots special.
Are you licensed to work in Pasco County?
Yes. Architectural Ambiance is fully licensed and insured to operate across Pasco County. We are owner-operated, so the people who design your lighting are the same ones who install it, and we provide proof of insurance on request.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Architectural Ambiance is fully licensed and insured, and family owned and operated. In a field that is largely unregulated, we are also one of the few actually certified to do this work, and our co-owner brings over 25 years of low-voltage experience to every install.
