Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-27
This Privacy Policy describes how Architectural Ambiance ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at architecturalambiance.com or contact us. We keep this short and in plain English because that is how we run everything else.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and keep our website working well:
- What you send us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, phone number, the service you selected, an optional budget range, an optional message, and an optional checkbox indicating whether you have used us before. We also record which page you sent it from, and whether you used the English or Spanish version of the site, so we know how to answer you.
- Private feedback. If you use our review page and choose to send us feedback privately instead of posting publicly, we receive your answers, and your name and phone number if you ask us to follow up. We use it to fix the problem. We do not publish it.
- Phone taps. When you tap a phone number on our site, our analytics record that the tap happened and which page it came from. This does not capture your phone number or the call itself.
- Usage data. Standard analytics record your visit time, the pages you view, your device and browser type, and a rough geographic region. This data does not directly identify you by name or address.
- Technical data. Like any website, ours receives your IP address when you load a page or submit a form. We use it to keep the site running and to block spam and abuse, for example by limiting how many times a form can be submitted in a short window. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
How we use it
Your information is used to:
- Contact you about the service you requested.
- Improve our service based on what customers ask for most.
- Measure how our site performs and which pages help people find us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with marketers or advertisers. We do not send you promotions you did not ask for.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site in aggregate: which pages they read, how they arrived, and what is working. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser to tell one visit apart from another. These tools help us attribute a phone tap or form submission back to the page that prompted it, but they do not identify you personally unless you submit a form.
You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn most tracking off there. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and see Google’s own privacy notice for how it handles data.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted providers to run this site and answer you: a website host that serves the pages, an email service that delivers the messages you send us, the analytics tools listed above, and a website and marketing provider that helps us operate the site and manage inquiries. These providers process information only to perform those services for us, not for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept as long as needed to serve you, plus a reasonable record-keeping window for our business. Analytics data is retained per the default settings of the tools listed above.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. You can opt out of analytics at any time through your browser settings.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable technical safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we treat our own.
Children
Our services and our website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
