About Architectural Ambiance

New on paper. Twenty-five years in the trade.

Architectural Ambiance is a new company, but the people behind it are not. Ryan Dorr runs the customer side and project management. His brother-in-law, Wes Reams, brings more than 25 years of low-voltage cabling and install work and carries the license. Between them that is 45-plus years of hands-on industry experience, and enough torn-out, failed installs from other crews to know exactly why most outdoor lighting quits after a season or two.

We install three kinds of exterior lighting: a permanent architectural system that hides in a color-matched track and lights your home every night, landscape lighting that shows off your trees and walkways, and traditional Christmas lights we hang and take down for the season. What they share is that they are professionally installed and built for the Florida climate, not clip-on kits that lean over by spring. The permanent system in particular is tuned to a true warm white and all but disappears in daylight, so after dark your home is the best-looking one on the street.

We are family owned, licensed, and insured, and we work across Trinity, Tarpon Springs, and the rest of Tampa Bay. Wes also runs HDAV, the low-voltage and AV company that carries our license. Every project opens with a free design consultation and a flat price in writing, never a guess scribbled in a driveway. The name on the truck is the name on the work, and that is the whole point.
